Flash Player For iPod Touch

The iPhone featured some of the greatest ideas ever imagined for a phone, but yet somehow they missed a critical component- A simple Flash Player! The iPhone literally has no competition with Google Android and other new phones because Apple, for some reason doesn't want to add a flash player. In the same way, the iPod Touch is limited.

The iPhone and iPod Touch user is restricted to the YouTube app in terms of flash. Websites based on flash cannot be viewed via Safari. Apple has made a move to produce flash Apps but that is pointless unless integrated with Safari. Adobe is in the making of a iPhone version Flash Player but Apple controls when and where this will be released. However Apple can't prevent jailbreakers from accessing a flash player on there iPhone. I have installed a flash player built in to Safari, it works great! I have tested non-YouTube videos like Google Video.

If you want a Flash Player, you can follow the steps to get your own up and running!

To Install a Flash Player, You Will Need:

  1. A jailBroken iPhone/iPod Touch (Cydia Installed)

  2. A Internet Connection for Device (Wi-Fi or 3G)

Enter your Cydia Application. Tap on Manage > Sources > Edit > Add.

When Prompted Enter The Following Address
http://d.imobilecinema.com/

Download the 3 packages that are available from the Source.
  • iMobileCinema
  • iMobileCinema BPControl
  • iMobileCinema SBControl

After you have installed all 3 packages, Reboot your Device. A new BossPrefs Application should be on your screen. Enter The App and make sure iMobileCinema is set to "On". Your Flas Player will now be working. You can test it out by watch a none YouTube Video.
